Thomas the Tank Engine Birthday Cake

This was for Conner's 5th birthday. If the little turd hadn't been born so stinkin close to Christmas, this would have been much more detailed! I stacked a bowl cake on top of an 8-inch round and shaped it some to form the mountain. That was placed on a half-sheet cake, iced in tan and sprayed with green (which ran out before I wanted it to). I had intended to make Thomas out of fondant, but time constraints made me use his wooden birthday celebration train. The tracks and rocks are fondant and the rest is buttercream. Again, if there had been more time, the scenery would have been more detailed - small trees/bushes, a few little animals, etc.
